I was born and raised in New York City. I am a political science major, minoring in international relations and legal studies. By working on Tamizdat, I learned about dissidents and the struggle for human rights in the USSR. I am also the Russian-speaking Jewish chair at Hunter Hillel. As a result of my work on Tamizdat, I will approach my role with increased appreciation and knowledge of my community’s history.
