The seventh volume of the bie bao series revolves around the Petrograd-based group Bloodless Murder [Beskrovnoe ubiystvo]. Here, we present a complete issue of their magazine of the same name, dedicated to Albania, which was published in 1916. A Futurist magazine that liked to ""insult and offend,"" Bloodless Murder's 'Albanian' issue targeted the nationalist ideas of their old friend, the journalist Janko Lavrin. We are publishing the issue with extensive commentary by researcher and curator Alexandra Strukova, who unearthed these documents from the RGALI archives.

We also include a brief retrospective note and two letters from Olga Leshkova, one of the magazine's editors, to Ilya Zdanevich in 1924.

Inspired by the magazine, Zdanevich wrote the zaum play Yanko I, King of Albania, staged in December 1916.

Here, we include an essay by scholar and librarian Andrei Krusanov, which reconstructs the exciting atmosphere of this historic performance. The volume also features an essay and illustrations by Miklavz Komeli, a poet and art historian from Ljubljana, who offers an unusual insight into Lavrin's Balkan legacy.
