Description

Internatskie rasskazy is an autobiographical book, as far as memory allows. It is set in a Moscow boarding school in the early nineties. The protagonist, a neglected but “bookish” child in the lower grades, meets unexpected helpers along the way and finds a road that will lead out of the boarding school’s walls. Is it really possible to leave the boarding school in the past?
