This work, the most comprehensive on the unfortunate case of the two Soviet writers, includes a full account of the trial, a dossier of the main articles published in the Soviet press after the verdict, and letters of protest from intellectuals and writers.
It is known that Sinjavsky published two works in France under the pseudonym Abram Tertz, The Icicle and Liubimov. His "Unexpected Thoughts" are due to be published soon. As for Daniel, he wrote under the name Arjak, This is Moscow Speaking.
