Description

Georgy Urushadze, publisher: — Under no circumstances could “Springfild” be published in today’s Russia, and not only because of the protagonist’s “wrong” orientation. I found this novel through a link on Facebook. I sent it to friends with the words “this is stronger than ‘Edichka.’” Writers resent being compared with others, so I’ll put it this way: this is the novel of a generation — the generation of thirty-year-olds crushed by Russian reality, which destroys everything alive and everything unlike the mainstream. It is essential reading. Throughout the first year of the war I thought about creating a free publishing house. After reading “Springfild,” I realized that novels and authors like this need such a publishing house. If not Freedom Letters, then who? Contract number 1 was signed with Sergei. This is the book we are starting with.
