Description

The first poems for this book were written in the summer of 2022, when the horror of the first weeks of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine had already passed, when the Armed Forces of Ukraine had stopped the onslaught and begun to win back territory. In the autumn the aggressor struck civilian infrastructure with missiles to intimidate the population, but we are alive, and the poems continued.
