Марина, героиня сборника рассказов Ани Макеевой, бросает театральный институт и начинает писать. Режиссерская логика – собирать мир из чужих голосов - перестает работать, и Марине приходится говорить напрямую. Письмо становится способом разобраться, кто она вне театра. В центре этих текстов – личные и семейные вещи, через которые героиня возвращается к прошлому и пересобирает себя.
Marina, the heroine of Anya Makeeva’s collection of stories, drops out of drama school and starts writing. A director’s logic — assembling the world out of other people’s voices — stops working, and Marina has to speak directly. Writing becomes a way of figuring out who she is outside the theater. At the center of these texts are personal and family things through which the heroine returns to the past and reassembles herself.
