Text

One of my friends and colleagues, who is in Moscow right now, asked me to send him some copies of Tertz (Terc) in Russian. Over there he became very interested in this author, and I have already sent him “Sud idët” and “Fantastičeskie povesti.” Now he is asking me again, and as I do not have other copies, and my friend’s stay in Moscow is limited, I would be very obliged to you if you could send him a message by post to the address I will give you below, three copies each of Sud Idët and Fantastičeskie povesti (both in Russian). Do charge me at the same time for this shipment and send me the invoice. Here is the address where the books should be sent:

Professor Martin E. Malia
c/o American Embassy «M»
HELSINKI
Finland

Please excuse me for bothering you with my “request” and I thank you again in advance for its execution. Please accept my most distinguished sentiments.
