Отзываясь на Ваш «редакторский отчет», забыл сказать, что приветствую то, что Вы сказали по поводу «странной» реакции «Русской мысли» на «признание» Шаламова. Все, что печаталось Шаламова в «Новом Журнале», кажется мне очень ценным, хотя «Заговор юристов» произвел на меня меньше впечатления, чем более ранние «пьесы».
Responding to your "editorial report," I forgot to say that I welcome what you said about the "strange" reaction of "Russian thought" to Shalamov's "confession." Everything that Shalamov published in Novyi Zhurnal seems to me very valuable, although the Conspiracy of Lawyers made less of an impression on me than the earlier "plays."
