Очень сожалею, что рукопись Шаламова требует серьезных поправок, а ксерокопия столь низкого качества. По этим причинам я, к сожалению, вынужден отказаться от плана опубликовать произведения Шаламова по-польски, по крайней мере, на данный момент. Возможно, я вернусь к этому проекту в будущем.
«Записки с Колымы» [sic!] скоро выйдут по-французски. Я не знаю никаких деталей, но полагаю, что рассказы взяты из «Нового журнала».
I very much regret that Szalamov’s manuscript need a serious adjustment and the Xerox copy is so bad. For these reasons I have, unfortunately, resign from the plan of publication in Polish, at least at present. It is possible that I shall return to this project later on.
"Zapiski s Kolymy" [sic!] will appear soon in the French version. I do not know any details, but I suppose the short stories are taken from Novyi Zhurnal.
