[С большим интересом я прочел в «Новом Журнале» произведения Шаламова «Колымские записки» [sic!].
Это не только документ, но и превосходное литературное произведение. Есть ли у Вас «Записки» в виде целой книги? Если так, то я был бы рад получить рукопись или ксерокопию целиком, так как мне бы хотелось опубликовать их по-польски в «Библиотеке Культуры».]
With greatest interest I have read in Nowy Journal works of Schalamov “Kalymskie Zapiski” [sic!].
It is not only a document but also excellent literary work. Have you got the “Zapiski” as a whole book[?] If so I should be glad to have the full manuscript or Xerox copies, as I should like to publish it in Polish, in “Biblioteka KULTURY.”
