I came to the United States at the age of 8 and have always wanted a career in the medical field. At the same time, I have always been pulled to Russian literature and thus decided to do a double major in biochemistry and Russian, with a focus in translation. While I have informally partaken in translation my whole life, I have chosen to challenge myself and try my hand as a translator of literature and journalism.
