Currently I am an MA student at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University (translation studies, with a specialization in Russian language). I translate from Russian, English and Slovak into Czech and I am also interested in proofreading and copywriting/rewriting. In Russian literature, I find highly interesting the poetry and short stories for children, Russian satire, the literature of the ’90s, post-apocalyptic elements in literature, and the portrayal of Russia and Eastern Europe in world literature and culture, which inspired me most of all to join Tamizdat Project. In my spare time, I learn Latin and German, play with my German spitz, take photos and go to the theatre.
