I am a Comparative Literature student at Hunter college. My hope is to focus on Russian literature and poetry, the linguistic history of Latin American writing, and the folk and émigré experiences across the two. I'm generally interested in liminal space, the use of structure in defining it, the passage of time, the effects of political landscape on literature, and interaction within evolving language. Participating in this project allows me to support Tamizdat archival work and build bridges across disparate Russian works while allowing me to navigate my own family's history of diaspora.
