Так произошло с героиней романа «Бумажное солнце» Лизой Нелидовой: другой мир через написанный ею текст просочился в ее жизнь, и теперь Лиза не знает, что реально, а что плод ее фантазии. И есть ли разница между двумя мирами.

A writer perceives the world differently from other people. A writer wakes up and sees emptiness all around, and that emptiness has to be filled with words. The writer sits down and fills the emptiness, creating another world within it, and lives in two worlds: real life and the text.

But often these worlds converge. The text seeps into life and displaces it, taking its place. This is what happened to Liza Nelidova, the heroine of the novel Bumazhnoe solntse (The Paper Sun): another world, through the text she wrote, has seeped into her life, and now Liza no longer knows what is real and what is a product of her imagination. And whether there is any difference between the two worlds.
