BAbook is an independent publishing house for independent authors.

BAbook began as a book club for Boris Akunin’s readers —  the Boris Akunin Bookclub — but now features many other authors, such as Dmitry Bykov, Boris Grebenshchikov, Sergei Guriev, Andrei Makarevich, Oleg Radzinsky, Evgeny Feldman, Viktor Shenderovich, and Mikhail Shishkin. New names that have passed the "quality control" are constantly joining the list. So now, the name can be interpreted as the "Best Authors Bookclub."
